Congratulations Dan & Amy!

I've known Amy for while and watching the process of her getting engaged and then married was very exciting. I was even more excited when she ask if Swirls would prepare some of the sweets for the reception. Amy has always loved Swirls Cupcakes and been one of our biggest fans so I was a bit surprised when she ordered cake balls instead cupcakes. Either way we knew she had a vision of the way she wanted the dessert table so we were happy to do whatever she wanted. A few weeks before the wedding I ran into Amy and she asked if she could add a few dozen cupcakes to the order ( I was excited!). She looked so happy standing there with Dan and I knew this was going to be one very special ceremony. Amy left the design for the desserts up to us so we decided to stay traditional...  Vanilla white cupcakes with buttercream frosting. Each cupcake was topped with a small white chocolate heart that was dusted  in edible sparkly glitter. We did Oreo Truffles dipped in white chocolate, Chocolate Cakeballs dipped in milk chocolate, then dusted with glitter and drizzled with chocolate to give a more elegant traditional look.  We had so much fun making the desserts for this wedding and my hope is that Swirls will be available to make more desserts for the many anniversaries those two will celebrate.
Congratulations Dan and Amy and many blessings on your new life together!
